More About EaseUS Partition Master Free Edition

Here are some more things worth noting before installing EaseUS Partition Master Free Edition:

  • Works with Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8, and Windows 7
  • All modifications are queued and forwarded to the "Pending Operations" area at the top of the application and are only applied to the disks when you click Execute
  • The machine can optionally be shut down automatically after implementing the pending modifications
  • Resizing a partition is as straightforward as physically moving the complete partition left and right, but you also have the option to input the partition size manually
  • Partitions on the same drive can be merged together, which will duplicate all the contents of one and place it into a folder on the other, forming one single partition but without destroying any of the data
  • An operating system can be moved from one disk to another, bigger one
  • Individual partitions can be erased or you can swiftly remove all partitions on a drive at one time
  • New partitions can be formatted with the FAT/FAT32, NTFS, EXT2, EXT3, or EXT4 file system, or even left unformatted
  • One partition can be transferred to a separate partition to basically generate a cloned partition, even if the destination partition is smaller than the source
  • You may conceal a partition, which will prevent Windows from displaying it with the other linked disks
  • Primary partitions and logical partitions can be changed back and forth between each other Drives and partitions can be erased, permanently wiping all the data
  • You may clone partitions
  • A surface test may be conducted for any hard disk to detect any damaged sectors, as well as chkdsk to rectify issues
  • Includes a partition recovery utility to restore deleted or missing partitions
  • You may repair the MBR of any drive
  • EaseUS Partition Master allows defragmenting partitions
  • You may quickly modify the drive letter and volume label of hard disks.

My Thoughts on EaseUS Partition Master Free Edition

I enjoy that the modifications you make aren't instantly applied to the disks. It makes it considerably simpler to play out what will happen once you've done all the modifications. All the best disk partitioning applications support this.

For example, you can enlarge a partition, format the resultant unallocated space, and then change the drive letters all in just a few seconds, and then see what the result looks like before actually performing any of it. The program interface will alter to reflect what you've done, but none of it will truly apply to the drives until you click the Execute button.

Also, the entire look and feel of EaseUS Partition Master Free makes anything I'm doing with my computer's partitions easy to grasp and achieve. The selections aren't too overwhelming and each of them are appropriately named.

Additionally, I really enjoy how extensive the explanations and lessons are in their online handbook, incredibly useful if you're still not quite sure what to do.

If you purchase for the professional edition, you gain more capabilities including the ability to clone the system partition, WinPE bootable disk access, MBR to GPT conversion on the system partition, partition splitting, and partition recovery.
